Women of Wynwood Walls, Miami Art Basel 2013

Art Basel 2013 was full of inspiring moments, this year Wynwood presented a new outdoor mural project and a gallery exhibition. The "Women on the Walls" exhibition co-curated with Jeffrey Deitch celebrated contemporary women artists whose marks are permanently placed in the history of street art and graffiti culture. The show incorporated nine wall murals and a gallery exhibition which showcased work from graffiti innovators such as Claw Money and Lady Pink, as well as artists who are redefining street art today such as Maya Hayuk and Sheryo.
